Safe Tonight Shelter provides emergency overnight shelter to women and children experiencing homelessness in Pontiac and greater Oakland County. Operating each winter season in partnership with New Birth International Church, the shelter offers a warm bed, meals, and a connection to services for neighbors with nowhere else to turn.

During the 2025-26 season, Safe Tonight served 156 guests and helped 58 of them move into transitional housing. The shelter works alongside community partners across the county to move guests from a safe night tonight toward a stable home tomorrow.
